2. Scope of Services

Stellar Notary Services provides mobile and remote notarization services, including but not limited to acknowledgments, powers of attorney, and loan signings. Services are available to individuals, businesses, and agency users in compliance with applicable laws.

3. Account Registration and Service Access

Users may access some services without registration, but features such as bookings and document submissions require account creation. By registering, you agree to provide accurate details and maintain account security.

4. Client Responsibilities

Clients must present valid government-issued identification at the time of notarization. Clients are responsible for ensuring documents are complete and ready for notarization. Failure to meet these requirements may result in service refusal.

5. Agency Business Users

Agency users, such as law firms or title companies, may utilize our services for third-party clients. Such users must comply with these Terms and any additional agreements specific to the services provided for their clients.

6. Service Fees and Payments

Service fees are non-refundable and payable at the time of service. Additional charges, including travel fees, will be communicated during the booking process. We accept credit cards, debit cards, and electronic payment methods.

7. Service Availability and Cancellations

Services are subject to availability and must be scheduled in advance. Clients may cancel or reschedule in accordance with the following:

Rescheduling is subject to notary availability, with at least 24 hours' notice preferred. All cancellations incur a fee to cover processing costs. Cancellations made 24 or more hours before the appointment are subject to payment processor fees. Cancellations within 24 hours but more than 12 hours incur a 50% cancellation fee. Cancellations within 12 hours or no-shows incur a 100% cancellation fee.

8. Limitation of Liability

We act only as a notarial witness and do not verify document content or legality. Liability is limited to the notarization process, and no additional warranties are provided.

9. Privacy and Confidentiality

We prioritize the confidentiality of client information and documents, disclosing them only as required by law. Please review our Privacy Policy for further details.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable laws of the client's and provider's jurisdictions. Disputes will be resolved in accordance with these laws.

11. Amendments

We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time. Changes will be communicated, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of revised Terms.
